A Big Thank You to our Sponsors!
Welcome to Sanford Downtown Legacy's second annual Harvest Daze 5K!
Pre-registration is now closed. Registration will start on Saturday, 10/5, at 8am, $20 for 15 and over, $15 for 14 and under.
***This race will be run in conjunction with our annual Harvest Daze festival. Traditionally the festival has kicked off the start of autumn, the race being run in conjuction with several other activities. Please note that this year we will be having a scaled down version of Harvest Daze. Due to a lack of organizational volunteers, funding, and a dramatic increase in the price for planes, we will not be holding the annual pumpkin drop. However, we will be having several other events, including the 5K!***
The race itself is a great combination of a few brief uphills followed by flat areas and slow, steady descents. It starts right next to Sanford High School, and ends near Number One Pond just past the Sanford Armory. The course is certified by USATF (ME12005RF), prizes will be given to the top male and female finishers, as well as top male and female in each age category. Overall winners will receive a FREE pair of running shoes from Bergeron's shoes!
Walkers are welcome to register, walkers will start at 9:40am, 20 minutes prior to racers.
